#Days92thru100 #100DaysOfBlessings #100DaysOfHappiness

On this day, 28 years ago, I was hospitalized (about two weeks) for meningitis. My mom says she picked me up from daycare, with a fever that refused to break. After awhile, she rushed me to #CHOA where she was told that she arrived just in time. Apparently, my neck was beginning to pull back, preparing to snap, and therefore ending my life.

By Gods mercy and grace, I'm still here.

Many people wonder why I put so much trust and faith into my beliefs, this is only partially why. When your life is spared, who do you give thanks to? When your provisions are met for reasons that you can't even begin to explain, who do you give thanks to? When you're blinded by your circumstances, and you wonder when they will end, who do you pray to?

You may not believe in my God. You may not believe that his word (bible) is true. You may not believe that even through your trials, that you are still blessed beyond measure. But guess what, at least I believe in something. At least I have chosen a path. I thank God as often as I can for saving my life. I thank him saving me from myself. I thank him for giving me something to believe in.

As I get closer to my 30th bday tomorrow, I look back over everything that has happened leading up to this point. From the good and bad, I'm thankful to have experienced it. That is why I am who I am today. I love you and I pray that you are living a purpose driven life. #Cheers

My emotions during this month never fails..... Every year for the past 13 or so years, the month of March has me feeling some kinda way. Its usually because a lot of the loss I've endured, happened in March. My feels have been crazy this past two weeks for various reasons but after reading my old posts, I've come to realize that this month has always been rough. Its always been emotionally draining even when I'm not consciously thinking about the pain and heartache that has happened. Once again, this year has continued the pattern. I am however proud to say that no matter how rough it has been, I always pull through. No matter how much I have lost, I've gained something greater in return. No matter how down I may feel now, I'm sure that tomorrow, will bring me one step closer to Gods promise for me and my life. This is why I live.

SheBrews

Im always trying to find different ways to incorporate my name into my "brand". Something that others will be able to identify me as. I chose "SheBrews" for various reasons. "She", because I am she. She, is me. For those of you on my Facebook friends list, you know that my name is Bran Brew. Brew, which has various meaning, but as it relates to me, Brew just so happens to be the second half of my last name. Finally, Hebrews, a book in the bible. To be more specific, Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen".

This blog will document my faith journey. I will share my thoughts, feelings, and dreams.

This is MyStory.

Children. I desire them. Of course I want the full package deal. God fearing husband, as many kids that I'm able to bear, nice sized house with iron fence, and a couple of dogs to make it complete. That is what I want for my life here on earth.

But children...... Children, in my opinion, appear to be God's way of teaching us vital lessons in our lives. One of those lessons being patience. I thought my patience was as strong as it could be, that is until I started living with my family and their two kids. Lol I love being around them as it makes me happy to see them growing before my eyes. I see their personality changes, and body changes almost daily. The simplest accomplishments have me so excited, as if they were my own. Like I said, I desire them. Children, I mean.

But patience. Lol I still have a ways to go. Through all of my blessings these past 82 days, the most important ones have to do with my own personal growth. Realizing that I'm not as strong emotionally as I thought I was. I'm not as patient and forgiving as I want to be. I rarely ever forget the things that bother me, but I hardly remember the things that mean the most. That means I'm taking advantage of my relationships with my loved ones. For that, I apologize.

Back to patience.... I have a tendency to react before I'm supposed to. I tend to jump the gun and in return, do things that affect me and maybe others. Not only did I mess myself up, but I doubted my faith. I allowed my fear to dictate the outcome of my situation instead of letting God move. He's told me time and time again to, wait. Through various forms of confirmation, I was told to wait. I did the opposite and messed up.

My point is, patience, is like unconditional love. You either have it or you don't. You either trust God completely, or you don't. I'm blessed because I realize the error of my ways. I'm happy because not only did I doubt God, but I have complete faith that he will and has forgiven me. In the end, that's all that matters.
